Roald Dahl

Gladys ponsonybys is an unsually short woman certainly not More than 5 foot or nine or ten maybe even less than that one of those tiny persons who gives me, when I am beside her the comical, rather wobbling feeling that I’m on a chair

  1. I can see that you’re using some of Dahl’s style, especially when using noun phrases to develop the introduction of a character.

    Two things:
    Don’t forget basic punctuation
I’m interested as to how this will develop – introduce the setting. Why have you chosen 1st person instead of third?
