Representation of teens: Another lost child
I think the tattoo on the teens neck, “another lost child” tells us he may be labelling himself as a lost child, a confused child who may have chosen the wrong path metaphorically speaking and has now realised he was lost and whatever he was previously involved in, of which burdens, telling us he was “lost” I believe he is telling us his gang related crime has ruined his life and caused him to lose his path, he is “another lost child” Therefore the tatto metaphorically means he is another ruined child by gangs. There can be another interpretation of the tattoo of the tattoo as it can also mean he is referring to one of his friends who is also a teen may have been killed in gang-related crime. I know this because lots of teens get involved in Gangs and most of the time end up being killed or very severely injured mentally or physically which goes back to my last point he might also tell us he has been mentally affected through his phase of being in a gang, mentally “lost” maybe.
The photos represent teens negatively because in the the first one it says “another lost child'” on his neck, this is negatively directed at teens because he says ‘another’ meaning he isn’t the only lost child, teen which can also mean there are lots of lost teens who might not even know yet so he gets the tatto to tell us he know she is a lost child and has ruined has path but may not be done finding his true way of living. Therefore the picture gives a negative view of teens.
‘There was a hand in the dark, and it held a knife’,this is a complex sentence because it has a main clause ‘there was a hand in the darkness’ and a subordinate clause ‘and it held a knife’. ‘was’ is an auxiliary verb which describes the tense something happened. ‘And’ a conjunction. ‘It’ being a pronoun.’a’ is an article or because it comes before a noun ‘a hand’
‘Musicians have gained public recognition as a result of being directly involved in street crime and gang activities’
I chose this quotation because I see it to be biased as it is trying to say all musicians (rap, hip hop) are involved in some sort of crime. This is biased because not all musicians are involved in crime for example, rappers as such as drake are not involved in crime. The writer also states ‘ rap, through materialist boasting and sexualised music videos tells vulnerable young men and women from isolated neighbourhoods that their problems that their problems can be solved by adopting similarly nihilistic personas’ I chose this as this is also very biased as not all rappers, in their lyrics, tell or influence young men and women to adopt a ‘gansta’ lifestyle. Going back to rappers like eminent
Two Roads – Robert Frost
Robert frost uses the image of a cross road in order to symbolise what is it like for human beings to make difficult decisions.
For example, Frost describes ‘two roads diverged in a yellow wood’ to show a moment of indecision.
The two roads present the walker with a choice. The road that he chooses to take here will impact the rest of his journey. The fact that he is unable to see the outcome of the journey means that he must make a blind choice as in the poem he chooses the more ‘different one’.
This is extended metaphor symbolises the ‘roads’ we choose to take within our lives. It can often feel as though human beings are confronted with an importat choice that will determine the rest of their lives, also when the writer describes the forest as a ‘yellow wood’ he is telling us that it was autmn at the time, it could also signify a time of happiness. The metaphor symbolise. Moments of indecision.

Interview structure technique
If I had the choice to interview anyone in the world it would be the famous Portuguese footballer Cristiano Ronaldo.
I would ask him questions like: How does it feel to debately be considered the best footballer in the world? Who Inspired you as a child to play football? Who was your idol footballer as a child? Will you come back to Manchester United at the end of your career? Where do you see your self after football? What team was your first trial at?
